To join the New York Gang Investigators Association by US mail, please download and complete the NYGIA Membership Application, enclose a check or money order and mail to NYGIA, P.O. Box 794, Yonkers, NY, 10703. Please allow 2-3 weeks for mailed applications to be processed.

EFFECTIVE 11/24/17: For security purposes, you MUST mail, email or fax a photocopy of your credentials along with your application. Failure to do so will result in the automatic denial of your application until your credentials are received and verified. Credentials can be emailed to nygiamembership@gmail or by fax to 914-313-1663.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP - $20.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments The Associate membership is for any individual who exhibits an interest in preventing gang activity, whose talents and interests can be of benefit to the NYGIA. Associate Members are voting members and are required to adhere to the regulations of Regular Members as set forth in the by-laws, from the following categories:

- NYPD: School Safety Division
- School Superintendents
- Principals/Deans
- School Security Personnel
- Teachers
- Counselors
- Social Workers
- Psychologists
- Victim Advocates
- Any other person deemed appropriate for membership by the NYGIA Board of Directors

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP - $25.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments The Regular membership shall be any full-time employee or retired employee (who was an active member at the time of retirement) from the following categories:

- Law Enforcement Officers
- Probation/Parole
- Corrections Officers
- Juvenile Justice Professionals (Detention,Residential)
- Prosecuting Attorneys
- Judges/Judicial Assistants
- Criminal Analysts/Evidence Technicians for a Law Enforcement Agency
- School Resource Officers
- Any other person deemed appropriate for membership by the NYGIA Board of Directors
